Our Krispy Kreme project was an exercise in "building as branding", reestablishing the brand in Canada through a building that would serve as a new focal point for expansion.
The corner location allowed us to position the space as a beacon, serving as not only a factory base but also a retail location and community pillar for the Scarborough neighbourhood of Kingston and Lawrence.
The double-height vestibule was fully enclosed with glass, featuring prominent roof signage to advertise the availability of fresh donuts.
Project
Description
The production area of the facility was sized to serve up to 12 retail stores while also supplying its own retail counter, which provided a customer viewpoint into the donut-making process.
The use of Alpolic panels in the Krispy Kreme green branding alongside green neon lighting created a striking visual flair.
