We were honoured to provide Second City - a North American comedy institution since 1973 - with a new home that brings their iconic brand of comedy to a larger audience.
The new 28,700 square foot space includes three performance theatres - boasting 400, 250 and 100 person capacities - as well as educational facilities that allow for all-day corporate and school age programs as well as professional comedy training.
We reimagined the former Target retail shopping space to incorporate three theatres, twelve classrooms, and a massive 300-person restaurant and crush space along with a 3000 square foot commercial kitchen and 1800 square feet of office space.

The space is located at One York, a 35-floor mixed-use Class AAA building located at York and Harbour in Toronto’s vibrant South Core Business District, with direct PATH access to the TTC, GO Transit, VIA Rail, and Union-Pearson Express as well as close proximity to some of the city’s landmark entertainment venues, such as Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Centre, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada and the CN Tower.
